Ads placed Online must be paid in advance of publication: VISA, Mastercard, Discover or American Express accepted.

Upon placing your ad, a customer service rep will contact you within 48 hours to get your authorization for releasing your ad. If you wish your ad to start sooner, you can call 707-546-7355 and place your ad by phone.

When we receive your order via email we will respond to you via email or phone with run times, start date and total price.

After your approval, ads will start the next available day unless specified. We will quote you the best rate possible for your ad.

Classified Ad prices are determined by category, run length, day placed and number of lines.

Copy acceptance:

The Press Democrat reserves the right to edit or withhold ad copy, or cease publication of any ad. It may exercise its discretion in acceptance or classification of any and all classified advertising.

All real estate advertising is subject to the Federal Housing Act of 1968 which makes it illegal to advertise "any preference, limitation or discrimination based on race, color, religion, handicap, familial status, or national origin, or an intention to make such a preference, limitation or discrimination."

The Meeting Place personals appear in print in The Press Democrat on Friday and Saturday in the Classified section and on Sunday in the On Q tabloid section. Errors:
